Music at Forum: Miami Sound Revue

Music at Forum is a curated series of concerts held at Lees-McRae College. It was founded in 1979 by a small group of residents to enhance the cultural arts experience each summer in Banner Elk.

Music at Forum’s 46th season kicks off with Miami Sound Revue. The rhythm is going to get you during this amazing tribute to 1980’s hit-makers Miami Sound Machine. Get on your feet to the powerful vocals of lead singer Katherine Torrivilla as she performs many of the Grammy-winning band’s Top-40 hits, backed by several members of the original Miami Sound Machine, as well as cast members from the Broadway show about the band, “On Your Feet.”

Miami Sound Revue performs two shows on June 16. The first show is at 5 p.m. and the second is at 7:30 p.m. Each show is ticketed separately and is one hour in length.
