In every one of the last five decades, multi-award-winner Cher has had a No. 1 song on The Billboard Chart. With more than 200 million records sold, she has been a major force on radio and television and in movies and pop-culture publications of all stripes. With 10 years of theatrical experience in musicals behind her, Kara easily rose to the challenge, proving to one and all that she could portray Cher without any difficulty at all. After a decade performing in dinner theaters, casinos, concert halls and at corporate events, Kara has built a reputation as one of the top Cher tribute artists in the world.

FORUM was organized in 1979 by a small group of summer residents for the purpose of bringing a stimulating series of cultural programs to the area. With the help of Lees-McRae College, one of the region’s most important resources, FORUM has grown significantly and continues to provide both cultural enrichment and wholesome entertainment to the community.
