Music at Forum is a curated series of concerts held at Lees-McRae College. It was founded in 1979 by a group of residents to enhance the cultural arts experience each summer in Banner Elk.
Feel the earth move under your feet during Music at Forum’s 46th season with Tapestry, The Carole King Songbook, starring Suzanne O. Davis. Davis provides a definitive and immersive concert experience celebrating the music of Carole King. Enjoy a journey through King’s vast catalog of hits, sprinkled with famous songs she wrote for other artists. The list of tunes includes “I Feel the Earth Move,” “Tapestry,” “Will You Love Me Tomorrow?” “You’ve Got a Friend,” “It’s Too Late,” “Pleasant Valley Sunday,” “Natural Woman,” “One Fine Day” and “So Far Away.”
Tapestry, The Carole Kind Songbook performs twice on July 14. The first show is at 5 p.m. and the second is at 7:30 p.m. Each show is ticketed separately and is one hour in length.
