Concert in the Park: The Lucky Strikes Orchestra

The Lucky Strikes Orchestra has become a staple of High Country entertainment. The group is known for its variety of Motown, beach and classic rock ‘n’ roll. Spend a summer evening enjoying some familiar tunes.
The concert is part of the annual Concerts in the Park series, sponsored by the Banner Elk Chamber of Commerce. Each Thursday, local and regional bands play live music at Tate-Evans Town Park Amphitheater. The fun dance music — from Southern rock to oldies, soul and funk — is appropriate for all ages.
Food vendors set up on-site. Small picnic coolers are allowed, and beverages should be in plastic cups. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket. No pets allowed in concert area.
