Concert in the Park: Smokin’ Joe Randolph Band

Guitarist/singer/songwriter Joe Randolph is known for playing the blues and instrumental surf music, but when Randolph plays with his five-piece band all sorts of musical styles show up.
The concert is part of the annual Concerts in the Park series, sponsored by the Banner Elk Chamber of Commerce. Each Thursday, local and regional bands play live music at Tate-Evans Town Park Amphitheater. The fun dance music — from Southern rock to oldies, soul and funk — is appropriate for all ages.
Food vendors set up on-site. Small picnic coolers are allowed, and beverages should be in plastic cups. Attendees are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or a blanket. No pets allowed in concert area.
