Artimus Pyle: Lynyrd Skynyrd Tribute

The Artimus Pyle Band plays a Lynyrd Skynyrd tribute show in the heart of town during the Saturday Concert Series at The Village of Banner Elk.

Artimus Pyle was a member of the legendary Southern rock band Lynyrd Skynyrd from 1974-1977 and 1987-1991. He survived the 1977 plane crash that killed three members of the band, including lead singer Ronnie Van Zant. Now living in North Carolina, Pyle performs one the finest tributes to Southern rock royalty. The Artimus Pyle Band is a high energy, true-to-the-music, and true-to-the-era rock group.
