Country music star Brad Paisley heads to the NC High Country this summer for an outdoor concert July 27 at Kidd Brewer Stadium on the campus of Appalachian State University in Boone, NC.
Paisley’s concert is the headline event of App State’s An Appalachian Summer Festival, and is hosted in partnership with App State Athletics. This year marks the 40th anniversary of the summer arts festival, a month-long collection of music, dance, theater, visual arts and film events on and around the campus of App State. It is one of the area’s top arts festivals, attracting more than 20,000 visitors to the High Country each summer.
Paisley has earned his place among country music royalty as one of the genre’s most talented and decorated solo artists. He has won numerous awards, including three Grammys, two American Music Awards, 15 Academy of Country Music Awards and 14 Country Music Association Awards. Twenty-five of his songs have reached No. 1 on the charts.
The concert is slated for 7:30 p.m. Tickets go on sale March 6 and can be purchased online at AppSummer.org, or by phone at 828-262-4046.
