Mountainfilm on Tour brings a selection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and inspiring documentary films curated from the Mountainfilm Festival that takes place Memorial Day weekend in Telluride, Colorado.
Held at Hayes Auditorium on the Lees-McRae College campus on Saturday, Feb. 8, the show explores themes connected to Mountainfilm’s mission: using the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world.
The event opens with live music at 6 p.m., followed by the films at 7:00 p.m.
Mountainfilm on Tour in Banner Elk is hosted by Lees-McRae College. Advance tickets are $15 online and $10 at Footsloggers locations in Boone, Blowing Rock and West Jefferson. Tickets at the door are $20. Lees-McRae students and employees may purchase tickets for $10 in advance and $15 at the door.
